Bike Maintenance
Again a day of messing around on the bike. Changed the front brake pads which had lasted 15000 miles. Then took the exhaust apart….
Since Mongolia the piece between silencer and down pipes was rattling. For some daft reason there were no notches cut into the pipe so putting a clamp on did not work. So one of the guys in the shop cut two notches into the pipe with an angle grinder. Now better but the clamp I have is rubbish. Will need to get a new one in the US. Alex again helped me centering the rear wheel. Met one of the guys that Olivier, Sylvie and me had met on the way to UB. He remembered me. Quiet funny. Weather updated - pissing rain.
