Long day but got help
Road pretty bad. Same as yesterday. On the way I met 3 Italians on two BMW bikes. They were on their way from Australia to Italy….
A new weather pattern seems to emerge. Getting rain showers in the afternoon and todays was a big one. Hail and heavy rain so had to stop and find shelter under a tree.
Kept going until 8:30pm and found a camp spot on the side of the road. Again just as I wanted to start putting up the tent. Val is walking by after collecting mushrooms. He said I could sleep at a friends place 2 km away. So I followed his car to the datsha of a friend. There I met Sasha after having something to drink and eat it turn out that we are not staying there. Turns out we drove 20 miles to Sasha’s place and I’m staying there for the night. Pretty interesting doing 20 miles in the dark over gravel piste.
