Low milage day
Took it easy during the morning and wanted to leave at around 2pm. Toni and Vlad went to get oil for Toni’s bike. They were gone for a good while and when the got back an hour later it started pouring with rain…
So by 4pm I finally left and first the road was very good. After 60 miles it turned into gravel. Lots of construction going on so road is a mix of gravel and tarmac.
Made it to small motel at 8pm. They let me park the bike in the garage. The usual motel with cafe, petrol station etc.
Going to be tough 550 miles if gravel stays this bad. Some parts were rough fist sized stones which made driving difficult. Other parts were pot hole next to pot hole, so you had no way to avoid them.
