Nice day on Olkhon Island
Woke up early because I could hear people either in the next room or on the balcony talking. Just couldn’t get back to sleep. So at breaky Rainer and myself decided to go for a walk along the beach. Just didn’t want to go anywhere on the bike…
Checked with reception if there was space for me to stay an extra night. Yes there was but I had to move to a different hut. That done I met with Rainer and we headed north along the beach / cliffs. Time flow by as we chatted about our trips, lives etc. Good 5 hour walk during which we had a dog from Nikita’s as company.
Met Thorsten and Laurie on the way back and the plan was made to do the same as last night - fire on the beach. So got beer again and after dinner headed to the beach with the others. Again great fun and amazing sunset. Talked with Yvonne (Swiss) for a while about leaving home to go on a long trip.
Later it was decided that we should go to the “nightclub” - a cafe with a disco ball in the corner. Interesting. More beers consumed. By 3:30am they kicked us out so ended up in front of reception at the guest house talking until 5am. I didn’t quiet make it to see the sunrise.
